My Coaching Story

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

A new video is up on my YouTube channel! This is a short one; it describes, in under two minutes, why I decided to become a coach. But I wanted to tell you that there's a lot more to it than what's in this short video. You all may know that I wanted a career change, but I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I hired a coach to help me figure it out.

You may not know that the hardest thing that I did with my coach was find the courage to overcome my self-doubt, my fear, and find my voice to say out loud what I really wanted to do - become a coach.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to admit to ourselves what we really want because it means letting go of the "shoulds" that we're used to, the ones we've been trained to follow our whole lives.

We all have a list of "shoulds" and tell ourselves stories about why we can't try because we might fail, why we deserve to live as lesser versions of ourselves, why we can't ever feel completely fulfilled and happy, why we are not good enough to go for it!

If you've been "shoulding" on yourself, then you are truly my inspiration! There are endless possibilities and endless "Yeses" if you can find the courage to stop telling yourself "No." If you're ready for more for yourself, I would love to help you find it.
